FABULOUS Girl's Clothing
Dublin-based designer Susan Reeves has just launched a brand new collection of girl’s skirts. As co-founder of one of Ireland's most avant garde and prestigious women's clothes stores, Smock, and creative force behind the Jacob Tu Tu brand, Susan is a well-known name in the Irish fashion industry.
A graduate of The Grafton Academy, Susan has always harboured a passion for pattern cutting, textile and design. All of which you see shining through in this gorgeous new collection for girls aged between four and 10. Each one carefully constructed and perfectly finished using only the best quality designer fabrics.
There is a wonderful sense of nostalgia captured in the collection but with a fashion-forward edge. Playful details such as colourful pom poms and ric rac offset punchy prints and vibrant colours – providing each piece with a design-led yet endlessly endearing appeal.

This debut collection from Susan Reeves is like nothing else on the market. Each piece is beautifully finished and yet eminently wearable. There is nothing ‘precious’ about this machine washable, cotton range – these are clothes made to be worn and loved. The classical, clean design gives her skirts a timeless and trans-seasonal quality, made to be paired with woolly tights and boots in the winter and sandals in the summer. Longevity is also a given with the standard of fabric and assembly. The sizing is generous and comfortable with an elasticated waistband which allows for plenty of growing room, meaning that each piece should get at least two years of wear.
